Since Arizona is so hot and James pulls out my hair anyway, I decided to get it cut. Here I am before.




Quite a bit shorter, its gonna be awhile before im used to it, at least its easier to mess with.




James fell asleep on the floor yesterday holding a book, it was so cute!

Today he is forty weeks old! He crawled a little today too!

He loves to grab the paper...and anything else he can get his hands on.

Getting all grown up

James is getting so close to crawling, he's been getting up on his toes and stepping forward, as you can see in this picture.




We went to California over the break, here's James sleeping on Huntington beach.



James loves to eat, I think he would eat all day if he could...





Chris on the Boogie board, there were some pretty big waves, the ocean was a little too rough for me to get on the board myself, but I did get in the water a bit.






James is nine months old! The date on the picture is wrong though...

James found a new favorite toy at Great Grandma & Grandpas, a remote that lights up when he pushes buttons. I think he played with this for hours!










This was actually the first day on the beach, it was hard to keep James on the blanket, he wanted to roll into the sand.











James liked putting his feet in the water, although it came in a little higher than I expected and I got all wet!

We finally gave up trying to keep him out of the sand, he really liked using an old ladle as a shovel, actually he just liked to hit stuff with it.

My sister and I wanted to give James a mohawk while I was in Washington and never did, so Chris and I decided to do it the other day, just for fun. It didnt work quite as well as we wanted, but was still funny!


James attempting to crawl, he gets stuck on the one leg and cant figure out how to get it straight. I'm sure he'll figure it out soon.



Finally figuring out how to get those tiny bits of food into his mouth by himself.




James wouldnt leave the paper alone long enough to get a good picture, maybe we will try again later.

37 weeks old! You can kinda see his teeth if you look really hard. He has six of them now!

A friend of mine helped me make a tie for James. It turned out pretty cute!



James loves spending time with his daddy.
