James wearing his Christmas glasses.
We hiked up to the "mountains" as the natives call them. Anything I can throw a rock over I would not consider a mountain, but it still had a good view.
James playing with his great aunt Sally.
James loved "Papa Charlie" as he called him.
James is ready to hit the trails.
James' pack horse.
Enjoying Christmas cookies.
This boy is ready for Christmas! He loves the tree and the presents under it.
We made some pipe cleaner glasses, he thought they were so fun!
Still wearing them, doesn't want to take them off.

James will try to put on any kind of shoe or boot. We have even caught him trying on mommies high heels.
Helping decorate the Christmas tree. I think he broke more ornaments than he put on, but he loves looking at the lights. Its the first thing he wants to see when he wakes up.
James loves wearing mittens, he insists on wearing them even if its relatively warm outside.
Our most recent visit to the doctor. James loves it so much, he starts crying before we even get through the doors of the office. At least he was excited about his awesome band aids.
All ready to go swimming. Luckily the pool is heated, although we always end up in the hot tub shortly after arriving there.
We got James his very own little potty, he's pretty excited about it.

California for Thanksgiving and Birthday
James enjoyed pushing a pool stick around, he said he was "lawn mowering".
Blue Pancakes!
The treadmill was a favorite place to play. James loved to go walking on it.
We got to go to Nott's Berry Farm with Papa and Grandma.
In line for the log ride. Too bad we didn't get the picture at the end, James' looked a little scared, but he never cried.
Riding on the train.
Eating birthday cake
Look who's 2!
Eating a cookie in line
Showing papa woody and grandma a pipe he found, unfortunately he tried putting it in his mouth, yuck!

Here's our little Davey Crockett
We went to our wards Trunk or Treat and James really liked the giant pumpkin.
Going fishing
After watching his duck fall of the footstool, James decided it would be fun if he did it too.
We love the rain!
For some reason, James grabbed a dish towel from the kitchen, put it in his mouth and ran all over the house with it.
Playing in his house.

James got to paint a pumpkin, he liked putting the paintbrush in the dirty water more than the paint. He's not too happy about the kid trying to steal his sippy cup though.
Holding a paper spider which he thought was great! He didn't want to look at the camera though because he was watching Signing Time. Guess I should have known not to interrupt.
Just relaxing in the easy chair.
James is really in to gates right now, so we made a fence with some boards and he loved it! Here he is walking the fence line, rounding up stray trucks.

James decided that the little ruler case in the middle is his tool box. He goes around the house collecting "tools". Mostly paper clips and stuff like that.
I got the idea to let James play with some old Macaroni noodles...guess I should have known they would end up on the couch, and all over the house.
Riding the mommy horsey
Here are some pictures of our last camping trip...like a month ago...Chris and James are enjoying the water.
The little water fall
Chris hiking with James in our (new to us) backpack.
This not so little guy (don't let the picture fool you it was probably three or four inches long) was sitting right next to me by the water. Good thing it didn't move or I probably would have smashed it.
